Bonjour!
If you are here, then you must share my love affair with flowers! Of course, what's not to love? Flowers are colorful, they smell good, they inspire, and they are natures perfect remedy for the blues! I mean, give someone a flower, and watch their expression! Sheer joy!
And, that is how I feel when I share my love and knowledge of flowers with others ~ joyful!
When I was a little girl, I grew up in the country surrounded by wildflowers and nature! I loved to forage for flowers, leaves, moss, and branches to create my own still life vignettes. I would sit for hours with pencil & paper and draw every detail! All the while daydreaming about my second love... France!
I dreamed of one day living in Paris, the City of Light, with a life in Fashion! I dreamed of being a Fashion Designer, living a glamorous life, and traveling the world!
It's funny how life leads us down a path that we were meant to be on all along. I still love Fashion, but my love for flowers goes far beyond the lights of Paris. I have learned a great deal on my journey, and discovered that floristry is a unique trade, and I have been lucky enough to travel the world honing my craft. I have studied under the worlds best floral designers, and have been inspired by each one ~ discovering their exceptional gifts that they bring to this profession.
And, now, after all these years of hard work, it's time to pass the torch. For me to educate, inspire, and help others discover their exceptional gifts. Helping to teach the true art of floral design to the next great daydreamers and upcoming designers.
My love for flowers, art, travel, nature, and beauty has never waivered...and I'm definitely a "you only live once" type of girl! Whether you are a designer, creative, flower lover, or dreamer it's never too late to follow your passion! After all, you only live once, so leave any trepidation behind and journey with me to a flower wonderland. Where we will create, learn, and laugh together!
